She has been conferred with the prestigious Femina World Women Leadership Achievement Award on World CSR Day in 2016 for her extraordinary work in bringing developments in the health sector and helping the poor especially women by providing them with educational and medical facilities for free. She also received the Healthcare Entrepreneur Awards in 2013, Philanthropist Award in 2013, Pride of the Nation Award in 2012-13 and Women Achiever Award in 2011, 2014 and 2017. She received recognition and personal acknowledgment from Honorable President Shri Pranab Mukherjee and Nobel Prize Winner Mr. Kailash Satyarthi for her SAVE THE GIRL CHILD campaign.
In Allahabad, she runs a 60 bedded hospital for neonates and a general hospital. She has established 2 intermediate colleges and a Degree College which focuses on women education. She has inspired many women to attain higher education which trains them for the position of IAS, PCS, and Medicine.
Dr. Sunita Dube started Aryan Hospital in 2003 in Kurla, a suburb of Mumbai dominated by large areas of slums with people living in unhygienic conditions. During the early period of her post-graduate studies and when she started the hospital, she would personally be present there to see that the patients get proper treatment irrespective of the type of ailment he/she suffered from. All her work was appreciated and lauded by her patients and colleagues as well. She then felt that seeing patients would not be enough.
After establishing her hospital, Dr. Sunita Dube started Aryan Medical & Education Trust where funds received are used for various social and charitable causes. Keeping in line with the philanthropic engagement she had donated Medical Equipment like Nebulizers to various Children Homes, Water filters to a number of municipal schools to prevent water-borne diseases and providing Free Ambulance services in her locality. As the director of Aryan Group of hospitals, Dr. Dube made compassionate efforts to provide basic health care and education facilities for the marginalised sections of our society.
As the Founder and Chairperson of MedscapeIndia, an initiative of Aryan Medical & Education Trust Dr. Dube pioneered a first of its kind organization in 2011 which aims to bring all the medical specialty bodies and units together on a common platform to inculcate a culture of holistic and fair health care system in our country.
